AlderiaHost is Under Construction
What you're seeing here is the scaffolding of a far larger system — the foundation of a next-generation hosting platform being built from the ground up with reliability, automation, and transparency in mind.
Current Status
This environment is active, but still in early assembly. Core services are online — the database cluster, file storage engine, and orchestration layers — but many of the customer-facing systems are still being wired together.
What's Being Built
- Automated Hosting: (partial) Every website or service group runs in its own isolated container or set, provisioned automatically, secured by default, and monitored continuously.
- Unified File Store (UFS): (under construction) A deduplicated, replicated, cached content-addressable file layer that handles scanning, encryption, and safe distribution of customer uploads across the network.
- Arcanthex: (working) The distributed data core that keeps every service in sync — accounts, billing, instances, services, and DNS orchestration.
- The Loom: (working) The distributed temporal events, messaging, and logging system supporting monitoring and automation systems.
- Nyx DNS: (planned) A self-healing domain and certificate system ensuring traffic always finds its home, even during maintenance or migration.
What's Next
The first public tier to launch will be Static Self-Managed Hosting — a simple, stable foundation for personal and professional websites. Customers will be able to:
- Sign up and verify their account
- Purchase or connect a domain
- Upload a ready-to-serve
public_html folder
- Preview their site before publishing live
Once Stripe payments, file scanning, and DNS routing complete their integration passes, this system will open for early access.
Philosophy
AlderiaHost is designed to be self-maintaining. When a site goes live, automation handles the rest — backups, updates, monitoring, and recovery — without the need for human intervention.
The goal is to make reliability the default, not an upgrade.
